4.9 Patch Notes
Hello, Royale Online family!
With 4.9, you can jump back into unfinished dungeon runs, turn your character into a tradeable item with the Mirror of Identity, and keep growing stronger with 160 new collections. Read on for the details.
Dungeon Reconnect
We know how frustrating it is to get disconnected in the middle of a dungeon run. If you disconnect in Solo Demon Tower or the Soul Stone Dungeon, you can now log back in and pick up right where you left off.
Solo Demon Tower: Talk to the NPC inside Demon Tower to return to where you left off.
Soul Stone Dungeon: Talk to the Guardian in front of Demon Tower to re-enter your dungeon.
Mirror of Identity
All the work you have put into your character can now live on with another player. The new Mirror of Identity lets you seal your character inside the mirror and turn it into a tradeable item. |
|
The mirror stores your character’s level, skill levels, status points, all quest progress including the Biologist, collection, and other character-bound progress. You can keep the filled mirror in your inventory, sell it in an offline shop, or hand it over to another player through in-game trade.
Items in your inventory and storage are not transferred. They stay where they are while your character’s progress moves into the mirror.
You can seal a character of any level. Once the process is complete, your character returns to level 1, and the skill levels, status points, quest progress, and collection data moved into the mirror are removed from that character. This progress is now kept in the mirror in your inventory.
Before taking over a mirrored character: When you use a filled mirror, your current character’s progress is erased and replaced with the progress stored in the mirror. Your current collection progress is erased as well and replaced with the collection in the mirror. Progress and collections from the two characters are not merged.
For example, if you seal a level 99 Body Warrior in the mirror, that character returns to level 1. When the mirror is then used on another Body Warrior, that character takes over the stored progress and reaches level 99.
The Mirror of Identity has no usage limit. You can move progress between your own characters or pass a character you have worked hard on to another player.
New Collections
New goals for everyone who has finished their collection! 4.9 adds 160 new collections to the game. Monster drops, fishing and mining goods, weapons and armor, potions, and profession tools are just some of the items that now have a place in new collections that make your character stronger.
Your existing collections and the bonuses you have earned from them stay exactly as they are. By completing new ones alongside them, you can raise your HP, attack, and defense, and grow stronger in many areas, from critical and piercing hits to bonuses against monsters and other players.
The values below show the total extra bonuses you can earn by completing all 160 new collections. Each collection you complete gives you part of this total, so your bonuses build up as you progress.
