Patch Notes 4.6

Hello, Royale Online family!

Our push against bugs and everything that gets in the way of joy continues in 4.6. This update is mostly repair work, with two additions on top of it. Most of the repairs went into the inventory, and the rest went into the things you touch every day: the joystick, auto hunt, the item upgrade screen and event trades.

Some of these we found ourselves. The rest we found because you reported them. Here is the full list.

New: Researcher's Scroll

• The Researcher's Scroll lets you pick your Biologist quest rewards again. If you chose a reward and want a different one, the scroll gives you that choice back instead of leaving you with the one you took.

• It will be available in the Item Mall.

Great War content

• The Great War content from our last two posts is now in the game client. Install 4.6 and you are set for the event.

Inventory

Our last update rebuilt the inventory. It brought new problems with it, and these are the ones we cleared out.

• Tapping an item shifted it one slot down. The item now stays in its own slot.

• Tapping an item to read its details unequipped it. Tapping an item now only opens its details.

• With the inventory open, tapping a piece of your equipment selected a different item. It now selects the piece you tapped.

• The Spirit Stones added to an item were drawn over the item's own stats. Both are fully readable now.

• An item that takes up more than one slot could not be dropped on the bottom row, because it had no room below it. That drag now places the item into the free slots above, when there is room for it.

• The selected inventory tab was only slightly brighter than the others, which was easy to miss. It now has a colour of its own.

• Item dragging is more stable in general as well.

The tab you are on now has its own colour.

Joystick and auto hunt

• Walking while attacking made the joystick look like it was sitting in the centre, even though your character kept moving. It now shows the direction you are holding. Only the joystick image was affected, your character always moved the way you steered it.

• Auto hunt lock is back. Press and hold the auto hunt button and auto hunt starts locked: walking and attacking do not stop it, exactly the way it worked before. A normal tap starts auto hunt the way it does today, so you pick the one you want each time.

Item upgrade

• Fixed a rare display problem on the item upgrade screen.

• Fixed the wrong and missing translations in the item upgrade panel.

Event trades

• In events where you trade items, you can now make more than one trade at a time. If you have ten trades to make, you no longer have to go through the same window ten times.

Other fixes

• Fixed the text sliding out of place in some description panels.

• Fixed a rare crash in the language system.
